Just a 40 minute train ride away is Arras. We do a lot of our shopping here most weeks. It has all the major retailers AND an wonderful Christmas market each year. Please enjoy the pictures from our visit this year. They have most things Christmas, plus local items, food and groceries and a number of rides for the younger crowd. One of the fun customs here is Santas arrival. He slides down a rope from the local belfry. No sleigh, just his pack full of presents.
